About the Retreat

I am so excited to share that I have the details for the GLOW Therapists Retreat in Greece! It will be taking place on an Island called Aegina – a 40 minute Ferry Ride from Athens. Earn 15 CEs NBCC, APA, EMDRIA and some state specific credits for Social Work on “An Ethical exploration of culture and environment in therapeutic practice.” The retreat is open to both EMDR and non-EMDR therapists. In a traditional, beautiful Hillside Villa that overlooks the Sea and has incredible Sunset Views.
Open to both EMDR and non-EMDR Therapists. Space is limited.

What You'll Learn on Our Retreat

The retreat offers a transformative blend of therapeutic practices, cultural exploration, and connection to nature. Participants will engage in daily sessions incorporating Phase 2 EMDR techniques, using the natural environment alongside BLS methods to enhance healing and grounding. Immersive activities include hiking scenic trails, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, exploring archaeological sites in Athens and on the island, and interacting with local communities through eco-art and cultural experiences. Guests can also enjoy yoga, meditation, and art processes designed to foster self-reflection and creativity. The villa offers an intimate setting with only seven rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and available as either single-bed/private or double-bed/shared accommodations.

Panama was an incredible experience! The South Africa retreat exceeded every expectation. The experience was intentionally crafted for therapists, with exceptional accommodations, nourishing meals, and a community of open, like‑minded professionals. The combination of learning, reflection, and shared exploration—set against the beauty of the reserve and the incredible wildlife—created a sense of renewal I didn’t realize I needed. One of my favorite memories was sitting down for an delicious dinner and looking up to the hillside watching the elephants walk the ridge we had been on earlier that day. The retreat embodied laughter, peace, awe-inspiring beauty. The retreat was restorative on every level: professionally, personally, and spiritually.

Wellness Counseling Inc have hosted two therapist training retreats (which sold out on both occasions) at our resort with another return retreat booked for next year. Arilda, who heads the retreats is very professional and organised which I am sure have helped to make it incredibly easy to bring her retreats to life.
