Shari Short, LMFT, is the CEO and owner of Aloha Counseling LLC, a thriving group practice with three clinics and more than 35 clinicians serving the Phoenix area. Before becoming a therapist, Shari built a successful career as a leadership consultant and business owner, bringing a unique blend of clinical insight and business acumen to her work. She has practiced across three states; Hawaii, Washington, and Arizona gaining diverse experience that informs her approach to therapy and training. Passionate about developing the next generation of clinicians, Shari specializes in mentoring new therapists and helping them build confidence and authenticity in their work. Her clinical foundation is rooted in family systems theory, with a particular interest in intergenerational transmission and its impact on individuals and families. She is currently authoring her book, The Confident Clinician: A Step by step approach to becoming an Authentic Therapist. In addition to her leadership role, Shari is a writer, speaker, and mentor dedicated to advancing the field of mental health.
