Therapists, counselors, and clinical professionals, if you’ve been craving a reset, a breakthrough, and a next-level professional experience that actually feels nourishing… this is it. This is not just a training. This is not just a trip. This is an EPIC, once-in-a-career international therapist retreat in Japan during cherry blossom season, designed to restore your nervous system, deepen your clinical work, and expand your professional impact sustainably. We’re going to a luxury ryokan surrounded by traditional Japanese gardens, blooming cherry blossoms, and natural hot springs, intentionally chosen to support deep rest, reflection, and renewal.
This retreat integrates clinical education with real-world practice development, ethics, and leadership, supporting therapists who want to grow thoughtfully, sustainably, and with integrity. Participants will earn 12–15 continuing education hours (APA, ASWB, NBCC) while exploring topics such as the ethics of clinician self-care and professional sustainability, nervous system regulation for long-term clinician health, and cultural competence and humility in a global context. The training also addresses ethical integration of intensives and retreats, opening and growing a solo-to-group practice, leadership development through the clinician-as-CEO lens, and the design and logistical considerations of retreat-based work. Additionally, participants will gain insight into becoming a continuing education provider, including the ethical responsibilities, processes, and standards required to offer high-quality CE programming.

To Secure your Spot: $500 USD (non-attending guests are also required to pay the deposit) is Required, afterwards remaining balance is divided equally depending on the number of months left for the final balance due date. Balance paid in full by February 1, 2027.

$500 USD Deposit is non-refundable. 50% Refund if Canceled 60+ days before Start of Retreat, 25% Refund if Canceled 30+ days before start of Retreat. No refund if canceled 29 days or less before the retreat. Option to re-schedule your attendance may be provided and considered if balance has been paid in full. If the program must be canceled on the part of Wellness Counseling Inc. for unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be issued. In this case, Wellness Counseling Inc. holds no financial responsibility for changes to airfare and other miscellaneous charges.
